In a recent CNBC appearance, Anthony Scaramucci of Skybridge Capital predicted that 2025 will be a “great year” for Bitcoin. He also mentioned that Bitcoin was expected to reach its current level back in 2022. Scaramucci pointed out that a spot Bitcoin ETF was expected to be approved in early 2022, but delays by SEC caused significant damage to Bitcoin’s price. Scaramucci believes the key question is whether institutional investors will enter the market, noting that some endowments and Middle Eastern sovereign wealth funds are already getting involved. However, these predictions should be taken with caution, as some of Scaramucci’s previous price forecasts were off.
