Ripple Partners with Garanti BBVA and IBM to Boost Crypto Security in Türkiye

How Ripple’s Global Takeover Could Push XRP Past $1 and New ATHs

In an exciting move for the Turkish crypto market, Garanti BBVA has announced a partnership with Ripple and IBM to enhance its crypto trading platform, offering advanced security and custodial services to its growing customer base. This collaboration marks a significant step forward, especially as Garanti BBVA Kripto is the first major client to adopt Ripple’s newly launched Ripple Custody solution.

Leveraging Technology for Institutional-Grade Security

By leveraging the combined strengths of Ripple and IBM, Garanti aims to provide institutional-grade security features, including advanced data encryption and a robust governance framework designed to protect client assets. This strategic alliance will help the bank manage risks associated with malicious actors, ensuring a safe trading environment for over 14,000 users.

Aaron Sears, SVP of Global Customer & Partner Success at Ripple, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner with Garanti BBVA Kripto to bolster the development of Türkiye’s vibrant crypto asset market. Secure custody is foundational to unlocking value and addressing the growing demand for new asset classes across the digital economy.”

Moreover, this partnership will not only improve the performance and security of Garanti’s crypto trading platform but also integrate embedded Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) with top-tier certifications, further solidifying its defense against cyber threats.

Looking Ahead: Innovation and Growth

Despite ongoing challenges, including a legal battle with the SEC, Ripple remains focused on innovation, continuing to deliver innovative solutions to the industry. In addition to this partnership, Ripple is also preparing for a potential IPO in the next 12 months, signaling its commitment to bring a new change in the current unregulated crypto industry.
